This biology class for homeschoolers in grades 9 - 12 is a weekly two and a half hour class of lecture and lab. It is taught by a Christian credentialed teacher with a heart for the Lord and a masters in Science Education, who is also a homeschooling mom. Some of the topics that are covered are: botany, microbiology, zoology, creation/evolution, chemistry, cytology, genetics, and human anatomy/physiology. During the year we will grow bacteria, watch protists under a microscope, identify trees, dissect: frogs, eyes, hearts, etc., discuss current issues and their relevance to the Christian, among many other laboratory activities.
